PURPOSE: To obtain a plastisol composition excellent in chemical resistance and painting workability, by mixing a specified binary mixture with a butadiene/ acrylonitrile copolymer, a polyvinyl chloride powder, a lead compound, a hydrophobic microparticulate silica and an organic peroxide.
CONSTITUTION: A plastisol composition comprises 100pts.wt. binary mixture (a) of 2W20wt.% phosphorus-containing polymerizable monomer component composed of 2W20wt.% phosphorus-containing polymerizable monomer of the formula and 98W80wt.% diallyl phthalate with 98W80wt.% diallyl phthalate, 20W100pts.wt. butadiene/acrylonitrile copolymer (b) terminated with a polymerizable unsaturated bond, 10W100pts.wt. polyvinyl chloride powder (c), 1W9wt.%, based on said component (c), lead compound (d) and 9W34wt.%, based on said component (c), hydrophobic microparticulate silica (e) and a suitable amount of an organic peroxide (f). In the formula, R is H or methyl, R2 is a 2W10C bivalent organic group, X1 and X2 are each -O-, -S- or -NH-, m is 0 or 1, and n is 1 or 2.
