Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically execute the conversion of indivisual plate film sections after the application of a plate film to a plate cylinder under tension and printing with extremely high accuracy within as slight a required time as possible by a simple system.
CONSTITUTION: A supply reel 6 wherein a new plate film 5 is wound up, an empty reel 7 winding up a used plate film having an image line part, two deflection guide rollers 8, 9 arranged to the area of a cylinder peripheral surface 4 and two feed rollers 10, 11 arranged to both deflection guide rollers 8, 9 one by one are provided. An insert member 3 supports all of the supply reel 6, the empty reel 7, the deflection guide rollers 8, 9 and the feed rollers 10, 11 by shafts to be provided in the cylinder groove 2 extending in the axial direction of the plate cylinder 1 in a replaceable manner.
