Title:
PLATE FIN TYPE HEAT SINK MANUFACTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3285525
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method by which the plate fin type heat sink, a fin height of which is high, a fin pitch is small and a number of fin is large, can be obtained utilizing an extrusion material.
SOLUTION: An extrusion mold die bearing is set so that the extrusion material 51, of which a shape as a base plate 1 is a circular arc and many plate fins 2 are extended radically on its convex face side, can be obtained. Space between the top end of each portion to form the plate fin 2 is set to be of such an extent that they are strong enough not to be destroyed against the extrusion load, and the space between the base end of each portion is set to be of the same width as that of a target fin pitch. The extrusion material 51 is manufactured by passing a raw metal material through the bearing of the extrusion die, and the base plate 1 is corrected to be a flat in a state where the plate members 6 are inserted.
