To provide a plate material feeder of a plate-making machine capable of feeding surely sheet by sheet a plate material to a plate material fitting device of an image processor without impairing the plate material from those under a state in which the plate material and a sheet are alternately laminated.
In an apparatus composed of a tray 7 in which a plurality of sheets of plate materials are laminated under a state of laying a sheet between the plate materials, a pickup means 8 wherein the plate materials or sheets placed in the tray is sheet by sheet sent out, and at least one conveying means 9 wherein the sent out plate materials or sheets are conveyed, a discriminating sensor 11 which discriminates the plate material or the sheet is provided in an upper part of the tray 7, and conveying route changing mechanism 12 wherein when the sensor 11 between the conveying means and a plate material fitting device judges the plate material, the plate material is conveyed toward the plate material fitting device, and when judges the sheet, the sheet is conveyed to a tray for storge 13.
