PURPOSE: To considerably reduce manufacturing cost by a method wherein a plate is made of a wear resisting ceramic material to provide such a long life that the plate replacement can be minimized and a continuous operation for a long period of hours is made possible.
CONSTITUTION: An intermediate mold 8 is made of ceramic material with one end positioned in a space part 20 defining a tile forming part made up on a plate 3 and the other end fastened to a base part 12 formed of metal material with bolts 15. The end of the base part 12 on the opposite side of the intermediate mold 8 is fastened to an approximately central part of a U-shaped supporting member 14 with bolts 24. Both the end parts of the U-shaped supporting member 14 are fastened with bolts 25 to the inner ends of a vacuum extrusion molder for a mouthpiece 2. By this arrangement, the regions of the plate 3 and the mouthpiece 2 coming in direct contact with a clayey material are made of the ceramic material excellent in wear resistance. Therefore, the wear of the plate 3 and the mouthpiece 2 due to the clayey material can be minimized.
