Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a plate winding rod driver capable of controlling the rotating angle of a plate winding rod to two different degrees by a single driver in a rotary press.
CONSTITUTION: A cam lever 28 is fixed on a plate winding rod 15 having a groove with a plate holding leaf spring 23 press fitted. A fluid pressure cylinder 31 supported on a body frame 2 and a lever 26 supported on the frame 2 are connected to each other through a link mechanism. A cam follower 29 pivotally fixed to the lever 26 is abutted on cam surfaces 28a, 28b of the cam lever 28. The values of radius of curvature of these continuous two cam surfaces 28a, 28b are determined to be different from each other.
