To provide a plated product excellent in the corrosion resistance and its production method by sufficiently containing an intermetallic compound improving the corrosion resistance, even in a Zn-Al base plating having low Si solubility.

The plated product excellent in the corrosion resistance is peculiarly coated with a plated layer distributing one or more kinds of the intermetallic compounds constituted of one element selected among Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Ce, and Si and having 1-50 μm grain diameter in a matrix composed of ≤10 mass% Al and the balance Zn with unavoidable impurities at 1-30% by volume ratio on the surface.
