Abstract:
PURPOSE:To apply the plating with good corrosion resistance effectively by changing a plating racking place in every each plating layer in forming plural different plating layers to the watch exterior parts. CONSTITUTION:The plating racking 3a is carried out on an inner surface of the exterior parts for the watch fabricated from a brass material and, thereafter, the plating such as a bright Ni plating 2a is applied. Subsequently, the plating racking place is changed to a place 3b parted from the previous place 3a and the bright plating 2b is again applied. Next, the plating racking place is changed to a place 3c parted from said place 3b and a finishing plating 2c such as a Pd-Ni alloy is carried out and, moreover, the plating racking place is changed to a place 3d and a finishing plating 2d of the Pd-Ni alloy is again applied to complete the plating treatment. By this method, a total surface of the parts is covered by the plating and reached to a condition having no place where the corrosion resistance is lowered.
