PURPOSE: To simplify a constitution and to lower costs of a playing machine in which a game is played by using pachinko balls (used for Japanese pinball game) sealed inside the playing machine by providing on one side of the playing machine a ball lending device which includes a bill throwing slot, a coin throwing slot, a remaining sum display part and the like.

CONSTITUTION: This playing machine 10 is formed of a body 11 and a ball lending device 40a. The body 11 is provided at a lower part of a board surface 12 with a display 13 to display the number of balls a player has now, a state display 14, an operation switch 15 and a ball shooting handle 16, and on the rearside, a ball collecting case, a ball shooting device, a ball polishing mechanism and the like. On the other hand, the ball lending device 40a has on a front surface a bill throwing slot 61, a coin throwing slot 62, a ball lending switch 63 to decide the number of balls to be lent, a remaining sum display part 64 to display a remaining sum which is obtained by reducing a sum corresponding to the number of the lent balls from one thrown first. In a lower part, it includes a card processing system 30 having a card insertion 31. On the rearside of an upper part of the playing machine island 10, a bill transfer and a coin conveyor are arranged to transfer thrown bills and coins up to a cashbox.
