PURPOSE: To decrease the number of plungers, by obtaining the fast feed mode with the operation of one of two plungers, the rewinding mode with the other operation and ejecting a cassette pack with the simultaneous operation of the both.

CONSTITUTION: Two plungers 2R, 2F are fitted to a base plate 1 so as to make cores 3R, 3F in parallel. The cores 3R, 3F are interlocked with a rotating plate 4 with long holes 6F, 6R and link pins 7F, 7R. When the plunger 2R is operated from the stop state as shown in Figure, the plate 4 turns clockwise, and an idler gear 9 gears with a reel base 12R and a flywheel 13R to rewind a tape through high speed revolution of the gear 9. A reel 12F and a flywheel 13F are driven the same as the operation of the plunger 2F to obtain the fast feed mode. In operating the plungers 2R and 2F at the same time, the plate 4 shifts to the right as shown in Figure, and they depress an ejection bar 28, and release a pack holder 29 to unload the pack.
