PURPOSE: To provide a plural terminal equipment system whose each terminal equipment is acted properly independently of the operation of an operator even when the plural terminal equipment are connected to a line for which one telephone number is assigned.

CONSTITUTION: When a caller side depresses a ten-key (0, 1, 2,...) corresponding to a number (0, 1, 2...) assigned to terminal equipment desiring communication after the end of line connection, a DTMF signal sent to a called party is received by the called party, facsimile equipment 1 being master equipment of the called party recognizes terminal equipment whose communication is requested by the caller side automatically based on a terminal designation signal composed of the DTMF signal, a radio transmission/reception section 17 sends a start signal too any of terminal equipment 2, 3, 4 whose communication is required to start the terminal equipment receiving the request designation.
