To enhance both the drift resistance of a vehicle and the straight-advancing disturbance stability during a high-speed travel by suppressing generation of any ply-steer force, and increasing the camber thrust force.
In a pneumatic tire having an inner belt layer 17 and an outer belt layer 18, a reinforcing cord 18m of the outer belt layer 18 immediately below a rubber of a tread part is folded back on the tire equatorial line, and generation of the ply-steer force is suppressed by canceling the ply-steer torques applied to the fit-IN side and the fit-OUT side. Further, the camber thrust force is effectively generated by setting the angle 2a formed between the extension direction of the reinforcing cord 18m on the fit-IN side and the tire equatorial line to be smaller than the angle 2b formed between the tire equatorial line and the extension direction on the fit-OUT side.
