This pneumatic tire comprises a pair of annular bead cores 1, a carcass layer 5 of which end side is folded at the bead cores 1, and a bead filler 2 disposed on the outer circumference side of the tire of the bead cores 1 so that its side surface lies along the carcass layer 5. A damping layer 10 made of highly damping material with a loss tangent (tan δ) of 0.3 or higher in a measurement of dynamic viscoelasticity at temperature 23°C, frequency 100 Hz, and dynamic strain 0.15% is interposed between the bead filler 2 and the carcass layer 5.
