Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the resistance to partial wear of a tread section by specifying both a loss tangent and a storage modulus of elasticity of tread rubber. CONSTITUTION:A value of a storage modulus of elasticity G' of tread rubber 8 divided by a grounded load P, that is, the storage modulus of elasticity per unit grounded load 1kg/cm<2> is specified to be more than 4.0X10<6> and less than 7.0X10<6>. In addition, a loss tangent delta of the tread rubber 8 is specified to be more than 0.05 and less than 0.20. This configuration is capable of restraining the rubber from being collapsed excessively, of preventing a braking action from being ineffective, and of levelling off a shearing force with the provision of the improved resistance to partial wear.
