Abstract:
PURPOSE: To restrain a wandering phenomenon and improve the rectilinear stability on an inclined road surface by setting a ratio of the distance of the most outside part to the distance of the maximum width part of a carcass in the radial direction of a tire from a line segment for connecting together bead core centers to be a fixed value, when the tire is mounted to a rim and the inner pressure is set to be a specific value. CONSTITUTION: An annular recessed part 7 recessed inward in the radial direction of a tire along the equator plane of the tire is provided on a tread 6, and after mounting the tire to an applied rim, air of 10% of regulated inner pressure is charged therein. In this state, the distance from a line segment connecting together the centers of bead cores to the most outside part C1 of carcass in the radial direction of the tire is set H, the distance from the line segment to the maximum width part C2 of the carcass is set (h), and the ratio H/(h) is set 0.65-0.80. Consequently, rectilinear stability on an inclined road surface having recessed and projecting parts such rut can be improved by the tire having an annular recessed part 7 and improving draining property.
