Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which can simultaneously improve rolling resistance and noise performance.SOLUTION: At least two main grooves 11 in a circumferential direction and a plurality of lateral grooves 21, 31, 32, 33, 41, 42 extending in a tire width direction are arranged in a tread part 1 of a pneumatic tire. A plurality of repetition elements Rc, Rs including the lateral grooves at a center region Ce and a shoulder region Sh are repeatedly formed in the circumferential direction of the tire. These repetition elements are constituted by pitch variations including at least three sorts of pitches. When the number of the pitch variations is N, a groove area ratio of each repetition element at the center region is Sc(1), ..., Sc(N-1), Sc(N) in order from longer pitches, Sc(2)-Sc(1)≥Sc(3)-Sc(2)≥...≥Sc(N)-Sc(N-1) and Sc(1)>Sc(N) are satisfied. At the shoulder region, the same relationship is satisfied.
