Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire capable of suppressing uneven wear in a shoulder area of a tread part, and improving linearity of driving stability.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire which comprises a carcass layer 4, a belt layer 7 and a belt reinforcement layer 8 is such that: the belt reinforcement layer 8 is set so as to make rigidity per unit width in a tire circumferential direction higher in an outside area of the belt layer 7 than in a central area of the belt layer 7; and there are satisfied relations of 1.02≤(LB2/LB1)/(LA2/LA1)≤1.25, 1.00≤(LC2/LC1)/(LB2/LB1)≤1.20 between maximum grounding lengths LA1,LB1,LC1 in the tire circumferential direction, maximum grounding lengths WA1,WB1,WC1 in the tire width direction, and external grounding lengths LA2,LB2,LC2 in the tire circumferential direction in a position of 40% of the maximum grounding lengths WA1,WB1,WC1 from the tire central position to the tire width direction outside, when grounding in a condition of filling 230kPa air pressure, and loading weights of 40%,75%,100% of a maximum load capacity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
