PURPOSE: To make it possible for many viewer to view a projected image with a polarized beam by diffusing reflected light without losing the effectiveness of providing a polarizing plate.
CONSTITUTION: A reflection surface 3, the polarizing plate 4 and a diffusion sheet 5 are laminated through adhesive 6. Also the incident light of the projected image provided with the polarized beam is received by the reflection surface 3, and the reflected light whose direction is the same as the polarizing direction of the incident light is returned by the reflection surface 3, and the polarizing plate 4 positioned in front of the reflection surface 3 is provided with a transmissive axis whose direction is the same as the polarizing direction of the incident light, then, the incident and reflected beams provided with polarized beams are transmitted through the diffusion sheet, and then, the reflected light is made to be a diffused state.
