Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a stabilized polyacetal resin composition having excellent long-term characteristics, especially excellent water-resistance characteristics, by blending a polyacetal resin with a specific amount of a specific hydrotalcite. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. polyacetal homopolymer or polyacetal copolymer having preferably 0.05-50mol oxyalkylene (preferably oxyethylene or oxytetramethylene) based on 100mol oxymethylene unit is blended with (B) 0.1-10 pts.wt., preferably 0.6-8 pts.wt. hydrotalcite shown by the formula [0.2<=X<0.5; (A) is n-valent anion; 0<=m<=2; n is 1-4 integer], having <=100mum particle diameter and preferably kneaded in a molten state ilder a high shear condition to give a resin composition wherein the component B is uniformly dispersed in <=100mum, preferably <=50mum dispersed particle diameter in the component A.
