Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide very thin film-shaped material, composed of doped emeraldin type conductive polyaniline group, which has high dimensionless thermoelectric figure of merit (ZT), which cannot be achieved by using the conventional organic conductive polymer, a thermoelectric material using the thin film-shaped material, and to provide a method for manufacturing the material. SOLUTION: This film-shaped material, composed of doped emeraldin type conductive polyaniline group has characteristically a stretched molecular conformation (three-dimensional conformation of molecules), film thickness of 0.42-1000 nm, and conductivity of at least 150 Ω-1.cm-1. Thermoelectric material using the thin film-shaped material and a method for manufacturing the material are provided.
