To provide a polycarbonate resin composition excellent in transparency, flame retardancy, light fastness, hues, heat resistance, moldability and mechanical strength, and the molded articles of the same.

This polycarbonate resin composition is characterized by comprising (A) a copolycarbonate resin comprising (a) a structural unit derived from a dihydroxy compound having a moiety expressed by general formula (1) at the part of structure thereof and (b) a structural unit derived from the dihydroxy compound of an aliphatic hydrocarbon, (B) an aromatic polycarbonate resin, and a flame retardant, by comprising the amount in weight of (B) the aromatic polycarbonate resin larger than that of (A) the copolycarbonate, and also by comprising ≥0.01 pt.wt. and ≤30 pts.wt. of the flame retardant based on 100 pts.wt. of the total of (A) the copolycarbonate resin and (B) the aromatic polycarbonate resin (provided that the case where the moiety expressed by the formula (1) is the part constituting -CH₂-O-H, is excluded.).
