Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain fabric of polyester yarn having high whiteness, excellent opaqueness and soft handle.
CONSTITUTION: In fabric of polyester yarn colored in white by using fluorescent dye and/or fluorescent pigment, a specular surface of a metal thin film having ≥85 L * value of psychometric lightness is spread by foil transfer toward a fabric surface side on one side of the fabric. The fabric has ≥130 whiteness W of the formula and ≥90 opaqueness degree D measured on the other surface of the fabric.
