PURPOSE: The titled fibers, consisting of a blend of plural kinds of polyalkylene terephthalates, etc. as a core part and a polyester containing a metallic organic sulfonate as a sheath part, and having a specific weight ratio between the core and the sheath parts and improved silky feeling and high-grade creping properties.
CONSTITUTION: Fibers consisting of (A) a blend of plural kinds of polyesters, e.g. polyethylene terephthalate, polytrimethylene terephthalate or polytetramethylene terephthalate, in any combination or/and copolymer as a core part and (B) a metallic organic sulfonate expressed by the formula RSO3M[R is 3W30C alkyl, 7W40C aryl, etc.; M is alkali (earth) metal]in an amount of 0.1W10wt% based on the total amount of a sheath part, as the sheath part. The weight ratio of the core and the sheath parts if (9/1)W(3/7).
