Abstract:

To provide a polyester film for a release film which provides high accuracy in the inspection of a polarizing plate by a cross nicol method.

In the stretched polyester film having a coating layer containing a cationic polymer on at least one side, the specific surface resistance of the coating layer is 11013 or below, the average particle size (d50) of particles existing in the polyester film is 0.2-1.5 m, and the particle size distribution value (d25/d75) of the particles is 1.0-2.0.
