Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester resin composition having excellent heat resistance, electrical characteristics, scratching resistance, low water absorption ratio and mold shrinkage factor, comprising a polyester resin and a specific cyclic olefin resin in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:A polyester resin composition comprising (A) a polyester resin, preferably polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate and (B) a cyclic olefin resin selected from a group consisting of a copolymer of ethylene and a cyclic olefin shown by formula I (p and q are 0 or >=1 integer; m and n are 0, 1 or 2; R<1> to R<19> are H, halogen, aliphatic hydrocarbon group, etc.), a ring opening polymer of cyclic olefin shown by formula I (e.g. one shown by formula II or formula III) and a hydrated substance thereof, having 0.05-10dl/g intrinsic viscosity (at 135 deg.C in decalin) and >=0 deg.C softening temperature in a ratio of 98/8-2/98, preferably 95/5-5/95 by weight, optionally a rubber component and a stabilizer (e.g. phenol-based antioxidant).
