Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition excellent in compatibility between each component, capable of providing a tough film excellent in moisture resistance by including a vinyl alcoholic polymer having an amino group, a water-soluble protein and a crosslinking agent.
SOLUTION: This composition includes (A) an amino group-containing vinyl alcoholic polymer (preferably, a vinyl alcoholic polymer having the amino group bonded to phenyl group), (B) a water soluble protein (preferably, gelatin or casein), and (C) a crosslinking agent (preferably, a polyvalent epoxy compound, a polyvalent isocyanate compound or the like). The mixing ratio of the weights of the component A to the component B is (99/1)-(1/99). The mixing ratio of the weights of (the component A + the component B) to the component C is preferably (99.99/0.01)-(70/30). Preferably, the composition is used as an aqueous solution, and the pH of the aqueous solution is ≥7. The composition can be used as a photosensitive material or a paper-converting agent.
