To provide a polymer-modified asphalt which prevents the occurrence of damage in a pavement body such as gap smashing, wheel rutting or aggregate scattering even at a site on which load tends to be applied such as express highway, cross-flow intersection region or places of heavy traffic density by large-sized vehicles, and which can be produced and paved under the temperature condition equivalent to an H type polymer-modified asphalt.

The polymer-modified asphalt contains a base asphalt and 9-16 wt.% of SEBS (styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene block copolymer) which has a styrene content of 35-65 wt.% and viscosity of 25% toluene solution in the range of 150 to 3,000[mPa s]. The asphalt may contain a peeling preventive agent of 0.3-1.0 wt.%.
