Abstract:

To provide a high polymer solid electrolyte formed body not only showing superior ionic conductivity, but also superior durability such as swell resistance, which can be favorably used in a proton exchange membrane of a fuel cell or the like, and its manufacturing method.

In regard to the formed body of a polymer composition containing polymer having one or more crosslinked groups in a molecule singularly or as one component, the high polymer solid electrolyte formed body is manufactured by subjecting the crosslinking groups to a crosslinking reaction and introducing an ionic group into the polymer. A high polymer solid electrolyte formed body with superior ionic conductivity and durability can be provided without accompanying deterioration of the ionic conductivity or decomposition of the ionic group due to a crosslinking reaction.
