Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a polynucleotide sequence useful for diagnosing, treating, etc., malignant tumors, etc., by directly chemically or enzymatically synthesizing a specific fragment.
CONSTITUTION: A transformant of E. coli JM 83 is extracted and treated to obtain (A) pLM 59 (accession No. NC1B 12429). (B) A fragment having a sequence containing eight or more continuous nucleotides, (C) a cDNA sequence comprising a sequence in the component A, etc., or the fragment of the component A is cloned in a desired vector. The cDNA library of the obtained clone is screened to obtain a polynucleotide sequence which is specifically expressed during the advance and metastasis of malignant colonic cancer or rectal cancer.
