PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having remarkably improved mechanical properties such as impact strength without lowering the characteristic features of each component by compounding a specific cycloolefin random copolymer and a graft-modified copolymer to a polyolefin resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding a polyolefin resin with (A) a cycloolefin random copolymer derived from ethylene and a cycloolefin of formula I (n is 0 or 1; m is 0 or positive number; x is 0 or 1; R<1> to R<18>, R and R are H, halogen or hydrocarbon group; R<15> to R<18> may be bonded together to form a monocyclic group or polycyclic group) or formula II (p is 0 or >=1; q and r are 0-2; R<1> to R<15> are H, halogen, alkoxy, etc.; R<7> to R<15> may be bonded together to form a monocyclic group or polycyclic group) and having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.05-10dl/g measured in decalin at 130 deg.C, (B) a cycloolefin random copolymer containing hydroxyl group and produced by modifying a part or total of the component A with a hydroxyl- containing graft monomer and (C) a graft-modified polymer.
