Abstract:
To provide a polypeptide whose reaction with the blood coagulation factor VIII that is the substrate of the blood coagulation factor X can be inhibited to effectively inhibit the following thrombogenesis reaction, to provide a blood coagulation factor adsorbent using the polypeptide, to provide a method of purifying the blood coagulation factor with the blood coagulation factor adsorbent, and to provide a thrombogenesis-preventing agent containing the polypeptide.
(a) The polypeptide comprises the amino acid sequence, or (b) the polypeptide comprises an amino acid sequence comprising the amino acid sequence (a) wherein one or plural amino acids are defected, substituted or added, and has an ability to bind to the blood coagulation factor X.
