PURPOSE: A composition, obtained by blending polyphenylene ether with a rubber-modified alkenyl aromatic polymer and a specific polyethylene and specific mineral oil and having good gloss and fluidity with simultaneously improved moldability, Izod impact strength and falling ball impact strength.

CONSTITUTION: A polyphenylene ether composition obtained by blending 100pts. wt. resin composition containing (A) a polyphenylene ether and (B) rubber- modified alkenyl aromatic polymer containing 5W15wt% polybutadiene component at ≥0.2 weight ratio [A/(A+B)] with (C) 0.3W12pts.wt., particularly 1.0W5.0 pts.wt. polyethylene having ≤10, preferably ≤8 melt flow ratio defined by the formula, ≤0.940g/cm3, preferably ≤0.920g/cm3 density and 0.1W100g/10min, preferably 0.5W20g/10min melt flow rate and (D) 0.2W8pts.wt., particularly 1W3pts.wt. mineral oil having ≤0.819 viscosity-density constant.
