Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a flame-retardant resin compsn. having a high heat stability.
CONSTITUTION: A resin compsn. is prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. polypropylene, 15-100 pts.wt. ethylenebis(brominated phthalimide) of the formula, 5-30 pts.wt. antimony trioxide, 30-150 pts.wt. magnesium hydroxide, and 0.1-5 pts.wt. epoxidized soy bean oil.
