Title:
PORCELAIN CALCINED AT LOW TEMPERATURE, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND WIRING BOARD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002338341
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide porcelain calcined at a low temperature which is dense, has low dielectric constant and high deflective strength and is excellent in sinterability simultaneous with metallization and to provide its manufacturing method and a wiring board.

The porcelain calcined at low temperature is characterized by being constituted of a crystalline phase composed of main crystal of ZnAl2O4, α-SiO2 crystal and Zn2SiO4 crystal and of residual glass phase (MnO2, B2O3 or the like) and substantially containing no alkaline metal element and alkaline earth metal element. Further the porcelain calcined at a low temperature has coefficient of water absorption of ≤0.1%, coefficient of thermal expansion of >3 ppm/°C and <9 ppm/°C, deflective strength of ≥150 MPa, dielectric constant of ≤7 and no-load quality coefficient of ≥800 in a region of 9 to 13 GHz.
