Abstract:
There are provided a porous material which is usable as a material of a heat insulating film excellent in heat insulating performance, and the heat insulating film. The porous material has, as a framework of a porous structure, ZrO 2 particles and a dissimilar material present on the surfaces of the ZrO 2 particles, the dissimilar material includes at least one selected from a first group, at least one selected from a second group, or both of the at least one selected from the first group and the at least one selected from the second group, the first group is a group consisting of SiO 2 , TiO 2 , La 2 O 3 , Al 2 O 3 , SrCO 3 , Gd 2 O 3 , Nb 2 O 5 , Y 2 O 3 , and a complex oxide including two or more of the oxides, and the second group is a group consisting of SiO 2 , TiO 2 , La 2 O 3 , Al 2 O 3 , SrCO 3 , Gd 2 O 3 , Nb 2 O 5 , Y 2 O 3 , and a complex oxide including at least one selected from the group consisting of the complex oxide including two or more of the oxides, and ZrO 2 .
