Title:
POROUS PLATE AND SHORT SECOND TIME OPERATING ROCKET MOTOR UTILIZING THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3916285
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress dispersion of explosive efficiency by laminating and arranging a plurality of porous plates having a plurality of gas flow-out holes while shifting a position of the gas flow-out holes on each porous plate, in order to preventing dispersion of a solid explosive in a solid combustion device such as a rocket motor.
SOLUTION: A dispersion controlling porous plate is formed is such a way that two porous plates are laminated with each other while shifting a phase of gas flow-out holes 1 and are connected to each other by a support 2, the sum of passing flow passage areas of the gas flow-out holes 1 are formed larger than a throat cross sectional area of a nozzle, and the inner diameter of each gas flow-out hole 1 is formed smaller than a short shaft diameter of an explosive. In the case where the inner diameter of the gas flow-out hole 1 is formed larger than the short shaft diameter of the explosive in order to form the sum of the bypass flow passage areas of gas flow-out holes 1 larger than the throat cross sectional area of the nozzle, a rib is formed on a first porous plate so as to cross the gas flow-out hole 1. The porous plate is arranged between the propellant of a short second time operating rocket motor and the inlet of the nozzle, it is possible to suppress dispersion of un-burning propellant from the nozzle efficiency.
