To provide a portable assisting chair for straight sitting which is less likely to be damaged by a concentrated load, is excellent in durability, and in addition, can be carried while easily being folded at a low cost.
This portable assisting chair for straight sitting is equipped with a bottom plate 2 which comes into contact with a floor surface, a seat plate 3 on which the buttock section is placed, and a pair of supporting legs 4A and 4B. The lower ends of the pair of supporting legs 4A and 4B are turnably attached to the bottom plate around the horizontal axis extending in the longitudinal direction, and the upper ends are turnably attached to the seat plate around the horizontal axis respectively so as to cross in an X form as viewed from the front. The pair of supporting legs are connected with each other so that the seat plate can tilt in the lateral direction. The lower end or the upper end of one of the supporting legs is made detachable from the bottom plate or the seat plate so that the seat plate can be stacked on the bottom plate by folding both supporting legs.
