Abstract:
To provide a portable electronic equipment and an electronic(E) mail incoming informing method provided with a means for always monitoring the incoming of E mails independently of its using state, and at the incoming of an E mail, informing the external of the using state independently of the using state and capable of easily and surely executing uergent communication, priority management, and so on.
A power supply controlling microprocessor(MP) 251 controls the drive of a display device driving circuit (LAMP-DRV) 29 at the incoming of an E mail independently of the ON/OFF state of a system power supply and an E mail incoming display device (L) 30 is turned on to inform its surroundings of the incoming of the E mail at real time.
