To provide a portable pulse management device for measuring a pulse normally continuously or at scheduled time interval, and normally supplying an indication signal to make a user change his/her action when the pulse is deviated from a setting permission range.

The portable pulse management device includes: a pulse measuring instrument to be mounted on a part of a human body so as to measure the pulse continuously or at scheduled time interval; and a pulse management unit to be carried by the user, which receives and stores a signal expressing the number of the pulses measured by the pulse measuring instrument, and outputs an alarm signal when the number of the measured pulses is deviated from the range of the predetermined number of the pulses.
