Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve reception sensitivity at the time of carrying a portable radio equipment and to improve the connection ratio with a radio base station by switching a gain switch means when an incoming call or an outgoing call is detected.
CONSTITUTION: When the detection part 105 of a control part 106 detects an incoming call or an outgoing call, the part 105 transmits a switch control signal to a switch 101. As a result, the switch 101 is driven and an antenna 103 is partially extended from its completely pushed-in state. Thus, by switching the gain switch means of the antenna and improving reception sensitivity when the incoming call or the outgoing call is detected in a state that the antenna 102 is pushed-in, the subsequent transmission/reception with a radio base station is performed in a state that reception sensitivity is improved and the connection ratio with the radio base station can be improved.
