Abstract:

To relieve a load on the user due to consumption of a battery of a digital cordless telephone set.

A memory l6 stores data cross-referencing voltage with a speech available remaining time and a voltage threshold in advance, A CPU 15 obtains a speech available remaining time from the data stored in the memory 16 when voltage of a battery 14 detected by a battery residual capacity detection section 13 is less than the threshold of the memory 16. Then the CPU 15 displays the remaining time on an LCD operation section 12, allows a transmission reception section 17 to generate a notice tone for the information to the user, and allows a transmission reception section 11 to transmit the data. A transmission reception section 21 receives the data via a radio connection device 30 and an exchange 50. A CPU 25 recognizes the speech available remaining time from the received data and displays it on an LCD operation section 22, allows a transmission reception section 27 to generate a notice tone for the information to the user. Thus, both the users can recognize the speech available remaining time and then can use the time effectively.
