Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radio equipment having folding structure capable of displaying all the characters or pictures corresponding to the received data on a display which is seen from the outside when the equipment is folded. SOLUTION: When receiving character data, etc., a radio outputs the data to a display driver and informs a control part that the received data are characteristic data, etc. When the data received by the radio part are characteristic data, etc., the control part waits for an operation key 17-1 or an operation key 17-2 to be pressed. When the key 17-1 is pressed, the control part informs the display driver of it, thereby the display driver scroll-displays a character, etc., corresponding to received data, on a sub display device. Furthermore, when the key 17-2 is pressed, the control part informs the display driver of it, thereby the display driver manually switch-displays a character, etc., corresponding to the received data, on the sub display device.
