In a portable stain remover 1 of the design, a water absorbing section 3 is inserted into a remover main body 2, and a water container 4 is removably attached fast to the remover main body 2. Multiple pits 11 are formed in the surface of the water absorbing section 3 in which a water absorbing material 12 which is sponge, pulp (tissue paper), or the like, is accommodated for the absorption of water. A motor 13 is actuated for the rotation of a fan 13a for the absorption of water through the pits 11. A cloth filter 16 prevents the water absorbed by the water absorbing material 12 from leaking into the motor section.
