PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the balance of data quantity to be transmitted/received by allowing a terminal equipment interface to generate a synchronizing signal in accordance with a synchronizing signal that a portable telephone system interface receives from a portable telephone system and to transmit/receive data to/from a terminating equipment.
SOLUTION: A terminating equipment interface generates a synchronizing signal corresponding to a synchronizing signal that a portable telephone system interface receives from a portable telephone system and transmits/receives data to/from the terminating equipment. When the difference between data quantity that a portable telephone attachment 2 receives the data within prescribed time from the portable telephone system 1 and data quantity that the portable telephone attachment 2 transmits the data to the terminating equipment 3 exists, a control CPU 21 in the portable telephone attachment 2 controls the operation of a terminating equipment interface 22 or the portable telephone system interface 23, thereby preventing the excess or lack of data that the portable telephone attachment 2 transmits to the portable telephone system 1 or the terminating equipment 3.
