Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set that causes no speech interruption at communication channel changeover to a new base station in the case of seamless hand-over.
SOLUTION: While a 1st TDMA processing section 14A keeping transmission reception of communication data on a 1st communication channel used at present, after a 2nd TDMA processing section 14B makes a request of assignment of a 2nd communication channel to other base station and sets up connection to the 2nd communication channel, a control section 18 in the portable telephone set selects the transmission reception of communication data from the 1st to the 2nd communication channel by means of seamless hand-over. When the 1st communication channel is switched to the 2nd communication channel, an error permission setting section 21 temporarily makes the permission of a detection error strict when a UW detection section 19 detects a synchronous word included in a reception time of the 2nd communication channel.
