A second detection section 103 is detectable the illuminance in the vicinity of the first detection section 102. In the call state, when the illuminance is higher than a predetermined illuminance or any proximity is not detected on the basis of the detection results made by the first detection section 102 and the second detection section 103, a control unit 104 controls a display unit 101 to be a first state.
