Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detector which can expand a range in which highly accurate position detection can be performed with a small number of components.SOLUTION: The position detector includes a stationary member 4 to which a wiring board 2 having a hall element 3 is fixed, and a movable member 5 which is supported so as to be movable within a prescribed range with respect to the stationary member 4. The movable member 5 has a pair of detection magnet members 6a, 6b arranged so as to be up-grade from one end side to the other end side along the movement direction. The detection magnet members have single permanent magnets magnetized in the thickness direction and are arranged so that the gap facing the hall element changes from the one end to the other end in the movement direction.
