To provide an electrification-controlling agent which is suitable for a positive electrification-type toner excellent in environmental characteristics, is colorless, has stable electrification characteristics, and hardly causes a change in color to combined components; and to provide a positive electrification-type toner for electrophotography which satisfies, by using the electrification-controlling agent, requested basic quality as a toner, such as excellence in thin line reproducibility and less fogging, and is very stable in color.
The positive electrification-type toner for electrophotography is prepared, which contains: the electrification-controlling agent which is an ammonium salt of a compound obtained by making a compound, which has a 5 or 6-membered ring cyclic amine structure, react with a sulfonic acid compound; a binder resin; and a colorant.
