Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a device difficult to generate electric corrosion of an electrode even when the electrode is constituted of Al or a Al-based material with regard to the device comprising a positive temperature coefficient element elastically sandwiched by spring terminals.
CONSTITUTION: A positive temperature coefficient thermistor 10 is obtained which incorporates a positive coefficient thermistor element 12 elastically sandwiched by spring terminals 13, 14 in a case 11, the electrodes 12b, 12c of the positive temperature coefficient thermistor element 12 consists of Al or a Al-based material, and the surfaces of the spring terminals 13, 14 of Al or an Al-based material in the part of contact with the electrodes 12b, 12c.
