Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a configuration for detecting an object to be used for dual purposes in a posture estimation device that estimates the posture of the own vehicle.SOLUTION: In an object detection system 100, a laser beam is radiated for each irradiation region into which a detection region in which an object is to be detected is previously divided into lattice form in the horizontal and vertical directions, and a group of distance-measured points is acquired that includes the respective distance and reflection intensity obtained by receiving the reflectance of the laser beam in each of the irradiation regions (S110). Meanwhile, determination is made on the basis of each of the distance-measured points as to whether or not each distance-measured point is the one that derives from a road surface (S120). Then, the posture angle of the own vehicle is calculated on the basis of the distance to an object that is determined to be a road surface (S130).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
